In case you haven’t heard about the news. EProjects is back with another event! This time we are collaborating with YWIB to hold a mini-case competition! This post includes detailed information about the event as well as a FAQ at the end of the post!
What is this event about?
Our goal is to provide opportunities for attendees to collaborate and create solutions for small local businesses in the Vancouver area. We’ve partnered with local businesses to create a mini-case challenge that will test your creativity and problem-solving skills as you tackle the pandemic problems our entrepreneurs are facing.
What can you expect?

How will it work:
We will be putting you in teams of 4 to solve a challenge question from a Vancouver business. Groups will hear directly from the entrepreneurs about their hardships before heading off to brainstorm solutions. The event will conclude with teams presenting their pitches to a feedback panel of guest judges.

FAQ:
Do I need to have experience in case competitions in order to join?
No, you don’t! This is a beginner-level mini-case competition, we welcome everyone to join! To people who have never participated in a case competition, don’t be scared! We specifically organized a smaller scale completion so participants can ease into the case competition scenario easily.
What is the prize of the competition?
There is no prize to this competition as it’s a beginner-friendly case competition where students will gain valuable experience in learning how to solve and present to an audience.
How do I form teams if I don’t have friends joining me in this event?
No worries! We will match you with 3 other students to form a team of 4 to participate in this event. However, if you have someone you would like in your team please fill out this team request form by the application deadline! If not your teammates will be randomly assigned.
What if the event is full?
A waitlist will be added once we reach capacity. Keep a lookout for your email to check your waitlist status! If you are no longer able to attend, email us at hello@ywib.ca 48 hours before the event!
